Baby Girl Noa
Noa was my last baby that I photographed in my home studio. Right after Noa, I moved into my Studio inside of the Epic Sports Lodge. Noa’s newborn photography session is one of my favorites that I’ve shot. She was so easy to pose and I was able to use a color on her that I typically never get to use with baby girls!
Sometimes the littlest things take up the most room in your heart. Don’t miss the chance to capture your perfect new baby with beautiful newborn photography by Amy Kuntz Photography. Moments are fleeting and their little features change so rapidly. I photograph newborns using a little natural and a little posed, following the babies lead and comfort. I keep a fresh, clean and simple approach to capture those sweet little details with images that will keep your baby new forever.
Expecting a new baby is such an amazing time in your life and I am honored to be a part of capturing the memories of it for you. I keep babies comfort and safety my first priority.
Newborn Sessions are best done within the first 2 weeks following birth.

Preparing for a Newborn Session
I have prepared some tips and tricks to help get your newborn portrait session off to a great start! Keeping baby warm and well fed is key to keeping them comfortable and willing to pose for me. But even awake baby shots are fun so no worries if your little one doesn’t take to sleeping right away.
Newborn Photography sessions are best done in the first 2 weeks following birth.
Full Tummy
It’s best to start on a full belly so feeding baby right before you head my way or right before I arrive is best. I do anticipate feeds during the session, but this will help get us off to a good start.
Pacifier
Use of a pacifier is extremely helpful when posing. If you do not use one, please consider using one if only during the session. I will have clean/sanitized pacifiers if needed.
Heat, Heat, Heat!
This is perhaps the biggest, most important factor in keeping baby happy besides a full tummy. Baby’s love to be snuggly and warm and will settle and pose best in a warm environment.
In my studio I keep the room very warm. I do use a space heater and parents are welcome to step outside if they get too warm.
For a session in your home, please set your thermostat as warm as possible. I also bring along a space heater for additional warmth for baby.
What should Baby wear?
For a studio session, I provide sweet and simple outfits that are handmade and customized for your style. Please bring baby dressed in a button or zipper sleeper so I don’t have to pull anything over their head while undressing.
For a session in your home, please have baby wrapped in a warm blanket when I arrive. I do bring some items for baby to wear during the session, or they will be wrapped.
What to wear
If you or other family members plan to be in some portraits with baby, light and neutral tones photograph amazing in images. Bright colors tend to cast color onto skin. White and Ivory are my personal favorites! Try to avoid scarves and large chunky necklaces as I try and pose baby close to your face.
What to bring
If you have any blankets or props (headbands/hats/wraps/baskets/buckets, etc) that you wish to use, please bring those along!
Also if you are not breastfeeding, please bring food for the baby.
The session fee is due at the time of the session. Check, cash or Venmo is preferred if possible.
