Newborn Cole
I would love to share some images of Cole’s Newborn session because he is the sweetest, cutest baby boy.
Cole slept so well and is so tiny.
Cole came to my portrait studio in Independence, Missouri. We started out with Froggy pose. In my experience, it is easiest to get Froggy pose if I start out with it. Babies are typically pretty sleepy from a nice car ride once they arrive. Once in my studio, they hear the white noise from the space heater and it’s so warm that they typically stay asleep and quiet.
After froggy pose we transitioned to chin on hands.
I then slipped him into this dark green romper and matching hat for a back pose. He’s such a tiny little baby, the romper and hat were slightly big.

After poses of just Cole, we then took some pictures of him with his mom and dad. This is one of my favorite poses to do with dad.
I can get a great variety with baby in this same pose by adding in mom and getting some close in, snuggly shots.
Parent shots are typically save for the end because baby might be starting to wake up a little more and want to be held.
Sweet and intimate snuggled poses are my favorite. I also love a good black and white shot. So classic.
