Newborn Photography sessions will take place at my studio in Independence, MO and will cover all of my standard poses as baby allows. Newborn Photography is the perfect way to keep your baby new forever. Expecting a baby is such an exciting time in your life and I am honored to be a part of capturing the memories of it for you.
Moments are fleeting and your baby’s little features will change so rapidly. I photograph newborns using a little natural as well as a little posed. A fresh, clean as well as simple approach will perfectly capture their sweet little details.
I also keep yours and babies comfort and safety my first priority.
Newborns are best photographed within the first 2 weeks following birth because babies tend to be sleepy and pose easily.
Mini Newborn- $800
- 1-2 Hour session
- Baby only
- 30 Digital Retouched Images of your choice
Classic Newborn- $1000
- 2-3 Hour session
- Parent and Sibling poses included
- 40 Digital Retouched Images of your choice
Session Fee
The session fee includes your session and a specified number of retouched images of your choice in color and black/white via online download.
(Standard retouching includes exposure and color enhancing, sharpening as well as light skin blemish correction)
The fee is due at the time of the session. Accepted forms of payment are Cash, Check, Venmo, CashApp or Apple Pay.
After the Session
After the session, images will be available for viewing on an online proofing album within 7 days and you will select the images you wish to have retouched.
Individual retouched images – $20/each
If you wish to have me retouch more images than what is included in your package, additional retouched digital images are available to be purchased for $20/each. Images will come in color and black/white.
USB – $400
A USB Thumb Drive may be purchased for an additional $400 which will include your retouched images and all of the other straight-from-camera images for keepsake purposes.
Printing or Online use is not recommended for the straight from camera images because the unretouched images are not considered a fully finished product .
Replacement USB drives are $50 if the original is lost. Once your USB is received, I recommend downloading the files to your hard drive and also backing the image files up online.
Session Discounts
For clients who book multiple baby photography sessions through their Baby’s first year including Maternity, you will earn $50 off of each session. The discount is applied at your 2nd and ongoing sessions.
Other Details
- Standard retouching includes exposure and color enhancing, alignment/cropping, sharpening and light skin blemish correction. Retouched images are provided in color and black/white.
- Your retouched images are provided in an online album for you to download to your own hard drive.
- Additional charges apply for Holidays or Holiday Weekends.
Session Fee is due at the time of the session. No deposit required.
