Baby Annistyn and Family
I knew once I heard this little girl’s name that she would be absolutely gorgeous and extremely special. Her Mama and big sister came to see Pretty for a Unicorn Session and they told me at that time that she was expecting another baby. I couldn’t wait to meet Annistyn for her newborn session.
We started out this session a little backwards. Typically I start with baby first on the table then move onto wrapped and family poses, but because I was feeling crazy, we started backwards and did sibling shots first.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.. I love, love, love sibling poses. I honestly think they are my favorite to take during newborn portrait sessions. Big sister was so happy and so proud to show off her new baby.

I was able to get so much variety with her wrapped portion. I knew once I began to unwrap her, the chances of her waking up would increase, so I got as much as possible while she was wrapped.
Aaaaaand, hello big, beautiful eyes! She didn’t stay awake for long though and we were able to finish off the session with some table poses.

My studio is located in Independence, Missouri inside of the Epic Sports Lodge. We are central to Blue Springs and Lees Summit in addition to Kansas City.
