Newborn Baby Pictures by Kansas City Photographer, Amy Kuntz Photography. Sweet little Memphis (what a great name!!) was so wonderful for her newborn photo shoot. She started out fairly alert and awake. We attempted table poses and had some success, but as I tried to get some of the more advanced poses, she wasn’t having it. I decided to get her wrapped up so we could move forward with some props and once she was nice and asleep I put her back up on the table.

Memphis’ mama brought some adorable props along with her to use that showed off her birth stats! How creative and sweet!
Here we are back on the table. Rather than completely unwrapping her, I left her bottom half wrapped up and proceeded with the table poses.
There really are so many ways to change up one particular pose when baby is sensitive and won’t let me move them a whole ton, but I can still get a great variety.
The poses with mom and dad are some of my absolute favorites. So much feeling when you get mom and dad snuggling with their brand new baby.
I love setting baby on the table for their newborn baby pictures one last time at the very end. Typically babies wake-up when I do this and I can get some sweet alert faces from them.
