Affordable Newborn Photographer in Kansas City
Meet Blakely!
Ahh, miss Blakely, I could have spent all day posing and photographing you. I’m so glad your mom and dad brought you into my portrait studio for your newborn photography session.
We used a soft pink drop for this session with small white dots on it. It’s so soft and delicate, just like a newborn baby.
There is such a small window of time in baby’s life to capture images like these. If newborn photography interests you at all and capturing these once in a lifetime pictures of your baby is important to you, please CONTACT me. Newborns are best photographed when they are in their first month of life. 7-14 days is ideal, but there is some wiggle room if needed. You don’t want to miss your chance to capture all of those sweet details and you will never, ever, ever regret it.
I offer several different package options for newborn photo sessions in hopes to fit in most family’s budgets. Learn more about my packages by clicking HERE.

Here are a few points from my Newborn Photography Prep Guide:
It’s best to start the newborn photo session on a full belly so feeding baby right before you head my way or right before I arrive is best. I do anticipate feeds during the session, but this will help get us off to a good start.
Heat is perhaps the biggest, most important factor in keeping baby happy besides a full tummy. Baby’s love to be snuggly and warm and will settle and pose best in a warm environment.
In my studio I keep the room very warm. I do use a space heater and parents are welcome to step outside if they get too warm.
For a session in your home, please set your thermostat as warm as possible. I also bring along a space heater for additional warmth for baby.
