Hi, I’m Amy! I was born June 12, 1982 and grew up in a small town just east of Portland, OR. I moved to Kansas City the week after I graduated High School in 2000 to help my brother who had just started a business. I’m now married and have 2 children, my son Kloden is 11 and my little girl Evelyn will be 8 in May.

Photography has always been a passion for me. When I was in high school I took a photography class where we used a Dark Room to develop our images! Hours of time were spent in the pasture with my horses and my mom’s old 35mm camera in my hand. School couldn’t come soon enough, because I’d be in the dark room to develop them. I should really try and find some of those images.

Back then I had no idea I’d one day have a successful photography business. Clients would entrust me with their precious newborn and their family heirlooms.

I consider it an extreme honor when clients step into my studio or when I meet on location for a photo shoot. My clients, their love and life are captured. A mixture of posed, amixture of candid are what I aim for to create a perfect you.

My photography studio is located inside of the EPIC Sports Lodge in Independence, Missouri.
